The Old Market, Hereford

GB Electrical & Building Services provide facilities management services for The Old Market, an open air retail & leisure space in the heart of Hereford on the site of Hereford’s former livestock market.

At the time of development, The Old Market was Hereford’s first major retail development in over a quarter of a century, today it includes everything from artisan shops and independent retail outlets, all the way up to multi-screen cinemas, supermarkets and a broad range of High St brands.

Spanning over 300,000 sq ft, The Old Market also enjoys higher than average footfall in both daytimes and evenings, requiring the right approach to facilities management and one which is able to deliver.

That work can vary, from planned maintenance, landscaping and groundworks to bathroom maintenance, emergency repairs and seasonal work such as Christmas lights and other special events.

Thanks to our size as an organisation and our range of multi-skilled specialist teams, our ability to attend and complete the work to schedule has led to a very successful partnership.
