As part of GB Electrical and Building Services’ pledge to be a sustainable business we are now a fully approved Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) installer. We are able to install OZEV grant funded electric chargers as well as private commissions for individual homeowners.

OZEV, the new name for OLEV

Due to the government’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2050, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) has recently changed its name to the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).

We install the best, all in one solutions

As we move away from fossil fuels to ultra low emission vehicles; the necessity for quick and easy domestic electric vehicle charging points is ever increasing. Not just in business but for families and homes across the country.
Fitted in just a few hours our ICS (Intelligent Charging Systems) units allow vehicles to be charged quickly and safely at home:

The ICSH 7 unit features plug and charge simplicity. Providing up to 30 miles range for each hour the vehicle is on charge, this wall mounted unit is a cost effective solution for charging all EV’s and PHEV’S.

The ICSW7B unit features smart intelligence with more customisable options. These future proof units feature single phase maximum output of 7Kw, full OZEV approval, 3G and Ethernet connectivity and the ability to manage and control your charging schedule.

These 7 Kw units can typically be fitted within a few hours as a future-proof long term solution; they are fully CE, IEC 61851-1, and IEC 62196-2 certified/compliant.

Grants and funding for Electric Vehicle Charging

OZEV funding is available to domestic applicants via the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme, the ICSW7B charging unit is just one of the ICS series on the government’s approved chargepoint model list.

The EVHS scheme provides funding towards as much as 75% of the cost of installing an electric chargepoint at domestic locations within the UK.
