Mr. S from Hereford was awarded a Disabled Facilities grant from Herefordshire Council to adapt his bathroom into a wetroom whilst he was in respite care. On surveying the property further work to the property water supply & hot water system were required to ensure the property was fit for purpose. We spoke to his carer Miss K. to find out how the process went.

How did you come to choose GB Home Adaptations to do the work?
Most of it was procured through a grant so GB were recommended to commence the work. The other works were then privately funded to ensure the property was fit for purpose and Mr S was allowed to come home.
Did the service meet your expectations?
Yes it did, the workers just got on with it. I wasn’t able to be there all the time as I have other clients to care for but they were good as gold. No problem at all. Adam always kept me in the loop and informed on what was going on. They did a good job, it looks good.
How has it impacted his daily life?
Oh yes absolutely. He loves it. The new bathroom makes life a lot easier for him.
